This collection is all about Renewal and reinvention. We all require renewal…we all need to reinvent ourselves from time to time to grow and progress in life. We need to let out all the previous painful emotions, unblock our path and open ourselves to the new wonderful future. If we don’t consciously release, or address unresolved issues, or honestly self-reflect and ask pressing questions, we would be suffocated under the weight of the previous pain. But once you do that, you will feel empowered and enriched.

Any pain, physical or emotional, alarms our system that something requires attention and it’s time to recalculate and refocus. To do that, you got to be true to yourself and not feel restricted by “what others are going to think”. I am a strong advocate for the arts. It plays a huge role in mind and body healing. Expressing through art, of any form, makes you resilient and assist in recovery.

My goal while creating these pieces was to add drama, glamor and luxury to the space. I approach design through all the senses and create artworks that spark a conversation and urge people to linger.

The technique used in this body of work is different and unique. Using only a bamboo barbecue skewer and then spreading the paint and shaping is challenging as well as lot of fun.
